This is me

I grew up in Connecticut and now find myself in North Carolina, where I serve as a School and Community Partnership Coordinator as an AmeriCorps VISTA for Guilford Education Alliance/High Point Schools Partnership! I’m currently working on building a brand name for High Point Schools Partnership and working towards equitable access to wifi and technology in low-income areas.

My research interests lie at the nexus of identity, socioeconomic class, and education, and I’ve been fortunate to pursue relevant opportunities in North Carolina and Ukraine. However, as I've watched education transition to online-only spaces throughout my term as an AmeriCorps VISTA, I've begun to question the ethics and sustainability of data as a currency for major corporations. With almost the entire world online due to COVID-19, my career interests have transitioned towards Trust & Safety, Data Ethics and Privacy, and Digital Rights Activism.
